6th grade Social Studies classes put on their detective hats this week to try and solve the murder of Julius Caesar. The students investigated by reading 10 different accounts from various sources and took notes on potential suspects. Et tu, Brute?

A big congratulations is in order for Mr. Shoemaker and the CMS Tiblow Singers. This past weekend they traveled and performed at the Spring Hill music festival where they received a Superior (1) rating for their performance taking home a plaque recognizing this accomplishment.

Student Council headed to Vaughn Trent this week to drop off canned food that was collected by CMS students and families and to volunteer. They dropped off 454lbs! Thank you to everyone that contributed to the food drive.






Ms. Mohney's Fashion and Interior Design students have been exploring the significance of color in design. Yesterday, they took it a step further by mixing and creating all 12 colors of the color wheel. It was a fun and creative (not to mention delicious) hands-on assignment!

It's that time of year again... 🐣CHICKEN HATCHING!!! This year we have 36 eggs in the incubator! We are expecting around 30 chickens to hatch throughout the rest of the week.
Mrs. Barker has 10 fertilized eggs that have begun hatching today and will continue to hatch throughout tomorrow!
I have 10-22 fertilized eggs. Half should hatch today/tomorrow and the other half should hatch Thursday/Friday. I have two sets of chickens put into the incubator on different days.
